Jason Jason portrait Jason was with me for 15 years, from '76 to '91. He was unforgettable to all who met him. He played with rocks, big rocks. He'd carry them around in his mouth, push them around with his nose and bark at them. Whenever asked about his rock, he'd carry it to you quite proudly. Jason was well known in the neighborhood for his antics, such as leaping through an attic window to get out to visit the dog next door who was in heat. He limped for a day and had a small cut over one eye. Needless to say, everyone knew Jason's name, and I was simply, "Jason's mom". He was very friendly to everyone unless he felt I was threatened, the perfect watchdog and friend.
